Forgot one more important thing...

Enzymes.  He has 1 chewable Enzyme tablet before every meal.  I get them (along with the CoQ10 and Liver Detox) here:

And to answer your question, I am very concerned about side effects of steroids and will try anything to prevent him from having to go on them.  There are studies that show steroids to be very helpful, and that most who refuse to use them decline faster than those who are on them, however I don't know if any of those people tried using alternatives, like natural anti-inflammatories, altered diet, etc.  Give me a call:)

Hi Stacey,

Your kids are adorable!!  I have been giving TJ a regular supplement regimen and really believe it is helping.....I cannot swear by it yet because it is very early, however we ran out of his DNA/RNA supplement for a few weeks and I noticed a huge difference once we started it again.  If you'd like to give me a call, don't hesitate 609-238-5505.  I will have better evidence that it is working after I get more bloodwork done....

Right now I am doing the following:

DNA/RNA supplement 2x a day (this to me, has made the biggest difference)

1/4 capsule of selenium (works together with vitamin E)

1/4 capsule of liver detox (dr. verghese)

1 multivitamin

1 60mg CoQ10 (from Japan)

(At least) 1 table spoon or more of Wheat germ (or vitamin E)

Pineapple

1 children's chewable omega 3/6

Turmeric spice in any food I can get into without him knowing (doesn't taste that great)

My own additions...

1 tablespoon Hemp Seed (ground daily and put into yogurt or smoothie)

1 teaspoon Chia seeds

1 teaspoon Goji Berry powder (in smoothie every other day)

1 tablespoon Lecithin (in smoothie every other day)

1 teaspoon vitamin C powder (in smoothie every other day)

Plus lots of prayers, hope, and belief that conventional medicine isn't the end-all-be-all!!

Have faith, your son needs to feel that everything is okay.  He won't feel that if you don't believe it.  It's hard to have positive energy all the time, but I know that makes a big difference too....

Sending hugs...

Tammy
