Not sure we will be able to run this years (flying pig) marathon. We are definitely doing a fundraiser in the summer. Thanks for all your hard work on the races. We will definitely be there next year, for sure.
Hi Missy,
I was wondering about the Flying Pig Marathon this year. Will PPMD be a part of it this year? I have a donation check and wanted to have go toward the race>
Hope your doing well. Thanks, Karen
hey you - hope all is well - just wanted to give you our family's official head count for Pasta dinner... Gordy, Perlita Hains (adults); Luke, 9 - Lance 7 - Levi 3 - since I'm spirit runner I think I am free & guest... so we will pay you for the rest that nite.
You worked so hard at the dinner the night before the disneyland marathon to get Jon's picture. It was no easy task for us either, but we did manage on Thanksgiving to sneak a picture so I though I would share it with you.
Hi Missy,
Just wanted to check in and see where we are on our spots for the Seattle Run for Our sons?
We have been giving it a lot of thought, and we think that each runner should have a separate fundraising page, however, how do we list our team members together. We have a team goal of $30,000, how do we lump our runners under, "Team Wyatt!"
Missy, my name is Jose Castro; i am the father of Daniels Castro who is 11 years old and has DMD. I am interested in running the Walt Disney Half Marathon, but the PPMD site says it is already closed. Can you help me getting an spot for a half marathon??? Thanks in advance. You can email me at josecastro63@gmail.com
Best Regards Jose Luis Castro
Missy, my husband and his dad ran the rock and roll Seattle in June and had a blast. We want to "go big or go home" (as they say) in June 2010. We have already recruited 17 people to run with us. I have a few questions if you don't mind. 1) I understand that we can register as a team. do we as a team have to individually raise $800 each or can we combine. Example if we have 30 people that's $24,000 as long as we meet the amount as a whole then we're okay, right? 2) we live in a small community, is it okay as far as the RFOS RULES go, for us to ask local businesses to support us? 3) If yes, do we just mail all checks to PPMD or do they mail to you themselves?
Thanks for your time. Melissa
There are 25 of us coming to Disney. My bro-in-law is running the half & full marathon... but he already registered... do you know if he can transfer his reg so he & his friends can make a Run for Sons team? Can't wait
Great pictures from the Flying Pig. Thanks for all your hard work. I still have some checks coming to me from family. I'll be sending them on to you next week. I was just curious on how much we have raised so far? Have a great day. Karen Jones
We finished the relay race on Sunday, in the Flying Pig Marathon.
It was a good race.!!!!
I have more checks to send in. I believe I have a total of $650.00 worth. I looked for PPMD along the race and never saw anyone?
We will definitely do the Flying Pig Relay again. Karen Jones
Hey Missy,
One more thing, I forgot to ask you if we would be able to get pom
poms or signs for the Flying Pig at the Expo. We are unable to go to the Pasta. Thanks, Karen
Hey Missy,
Can you check and see if Brett Schnirring registered for RFOS. He is my nephew, and he wasn't sure if registered correctly? Thank you for help. Could you also send his race singlet. Karen
Thank-you so much for your speedy reply. I will most certainly investigate the options availuable in terms of COQ10 here in Canada. Hope you are well, and its great to have such a energetic supportive group at PPMD.Thanks
I was hoping you could shed some light on the suppliment COQ10 and its potential benifts to our boys. Are you aware of this suppliment and are families using this? Hope you are well. Not sure if we met as we have only been to two conferences and hope to come in 2010. Thanks for your work and dedication to DMD, we greatly appreciate it.

Hi Missy,
I've been trying to get details about Atlanta...location, program, registration info. I'm new and want to receive the most current info on issues that relate to my 2 sons who have DMD.
Thanks, Laurie
