What does it stand for ? Is this something that we ca use in europe as well?

IND stands for investigational new drug. The FDA has a program that allows physicians to apply to continue to give the drug to patients. The European counterpart to the FDA may have a similiar program. You might want to check with your childs doctor to see. I think the FDA counterpart in Europe is the EMEA.
