I'm a mom of 3 children. My oldest son has Duchenne. He is 21 years old. I have a 19 year-old son and 14 year-old daughter. Including Dad, we are a happy family of five.
I have BA in Photojournalism and MA in Counseling. I also founded a non profit Coalition Duchenne, that raises awareness for Duchenne and funds research. We are focused on funding cardiac and pulmonary initiatives.
We have an annual event in Borneo, Expedition Mt Kinabalu. We also have an annual music event in Newport Beach.

If you are interested, please join in the discussion about electrostim treatment at South Texas Innovative Medicine Discussion Forum. My daughter has RSD and went to Dr Rhodes and STIM. The "treatment" didn't work at all for her. The STS has been on the market for almost a DECADE! I'm usupicious that there's never "time" to assess the success rate data... I personally, in my opinion, feel "duped and I'm stuck with a $4200 machine!!
