- About me:
- I am a Media Specialist (Librarian) at a small PreK-8th grade elementary school in Stanly County. I worked as a teacher in Kindergarten-third grade for 15 years before beginning the Media Specialist job. I am currently taking classes to get my Masters degree in Library Science.
- About my family:
- I have two boys. Hilton, 9 years old, loves all kinds of sports, especially baseball and basketball. He wants to play football but I will not allow it. Garin, 5 years old, loves to play with his big brother. He is currently playing soccer, although he can't run and keep up but he does try sooo hard. He was diagnosed in August 2007 with DMD.

I think I chatted with your husband on this site a few days ago. We recently moved to Florida from North Carolina. My son, Ryan, was diagnosed in May of this year. He is three. He goes to Duke for MDA clinic. I hope all is well with you and your family.
