At 5:15pm on May 1, 2011, Harriet Meermann said…: We had over 200 people attend. We now have almost $8,000 for advancements in treatments and a cure for duchenne. The fundraiser was a success. On the same night my son, Heinrich and his wife, Heather, were in Austin , Texas at a fundraiser hosted by the coach, Mack Brown, of the University of Texas. They raised over $200,000 for PPMD.
