i am a father of 4.6 yr old dmd boy.he is very beautiful and mischevious
he is my only son and was diagnised with dmd when he was 18 months old.
From your history it seems u are not dmd as u could walk untill 18 yrs of age . Even u were diagnised at the age of 9.
So typically your symptoms are of BMD
abt research in our country (india)
nothing much is happening .V are all keeping touch on the net with companies who are working hard on interventional drugs to slow the progress of this bloody disease.

Mi nombre es Wilfredo y vivo en Puerto Rico. Mi hijo Alejandro tiene 7 anos y fue diagnosticado con DMD en Marzo de 2010. Actualmente el esta muy bien. Estoy en la mejor dispocicion de ayudarte.
