So I decided NOT to put this project on hold, just take a little longer to get it done. We want to do something extremely different and special, including putting "celebrity" favorite recipes with their autographs and photos along with our recipes and stories. It will not be a spiral or 3 ring binder. Anyone with us making this possible?

I am a little confused about who this cookbook will be marketed to. I know it is a fundraiser -- are those associated with Duchenne/Becker the target audience or is it for the general publicl who might like a cookbook? Are these recipes for a specified diet or any type?

I see they used the same idea for the non-profit organization out there. Looks like a simple (but small) hard back cookbook. looks interesting Gail.

Here are some more links for scottish veteran actress Eileen McCallum's (who has two grandsons with Duchenne) fundraising cookbook:

and/or this:

or just type "Eileen McCallum Action Duchenne Caledonia Cookbook" in your search engine.

There is a discussion on the forum about actually doing a cookbook for PPMD as a fundraiser. Cook for A Cure-Cookbook. There are quite a few of us that actually thinking of just exploring this but also implementing the idea. You all are welcome to join in the discussion or we can bring it here. Which I think I will do right now.

I think it is interesting (and encouraging) to know that veteran Scottish actress Eileen McCallum has two grandsons with Duchenne and also has actualized the idea of a fundraising/awareness cookbook. Here's the link:

lol...I just realized the dates of the discussion of the cookbooks-last year. As Keri asked, has anyone started on the cookbook yet? if not, it is not too late!
