We live in NY and they take our insurance!
Looking into seeing Dr. Wong. How does it work with insurance? We are from PA. I am assuming insurance probably won't cover it. Is is considered an MDA clinic?
Thanks Eileen, I did some checking and hopefully booked a perfect hotel for us.
Anyone in next week? We will be there July 29-Aug1.
This will be our 8th summer trip to Cincy and my favorite areas so far are the Blue Ash area and the Eastgate area. The only area I did not like was Sharonville because it had a lot of train noise at night. But I like to try a different hotel every year so we can check out more of Cincy. My boys really love to swim so it all about the pools for us. The Radisson in Covington has the best pool but the room was small and the service was not very nice. We are staying in the Forest Park area this year at the Springhill Suites. Do some price checking on hotels not on the hospital list there are so many.
Donna, thanks for the heads up! I was hoping to get some feedback from here. I know the concierge doesn't really know the ins and outs especially if families don't leave their feedback (we had to with the Wingate...they had a sports team there running through the halls around midnight when we had to be up early for appointments!). I appreciate your opinion!
We would love to meet up with other families! We love to give our son interactions with other kids who "get it". I think it is also helpful to be around the parents for that same reason! Any ideas where we could sit and visit?!
Wendy Juzwiak We stayed at the Garfield, it is NOT handicap accessible in the rooms. our boys could not brush their teeth at the skin, almost fell several times putting them on this flimsy little chair they called a handicap chair. they called this the handicap room but nothing was handicap about it at all. will not stay there again. we will in cincy with another family the week of Aug 11-16. We are staying at the SpringHill Suites Cincinnati Midtown hope this hotel is better. maybe we will see you all too.
