They have just extended the 36 weeks until FDA approval can be granted...so it seems this trial phase is at a holding point.  I am not sure this is a function of PTC.  Perhaps this is more about FDA taking more time to review the data and applications for orphan drug status.

I haven't heard much either - heading to CHOP mid sept, hopefully they can shed some light - I keep in close contact w/ Jill Castle from AZ... her son was & is on the trial - maybe she can shed some light.   xoxo from PA

Yeah,  What is going on with Ataluren? Do we have any news from PTC?

This shows how all these drugs would take decades to be marketed.  And it seams that PTC is not as orginised and willing to go on.

I am very dissapointed with PTC's management of this trials and progress.

Really don't have much of an update.  My son is on it.  We go for doc visits every 12 weeks just for blood work really is all.  I don't know the status of the drug itself.

After the PTC press release (http://ptct.client.shareholder.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=448803) the way will be more difficult now... sorry for our hopeful boys!
