I need some creative ideas for a photostory.
Okay, I need those with creative minds to help me. My 5 year old son James has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This year, we organised The Tour Duchenne, a 1000km bicycle ride from Sydney-Melbourne in Australia and raised almost $800,000 for research into a cure for the disease. Now we are organising The Tour Duchenne again for sept 2010 & we're currently building the new webpage & trying to get riders on board. So I am doing a photostory showing boys with duchenne, briefly explaining the disease, showing pics of some of the boys/girls I know with the disease, and interspersing this with pics of the riders (struggling with the ride, doing it touch climbing hill after hill) from this year's ride. So I need a song to accompany the story. It has to be powerful, not cheerful, and be about hope & challenges & receiving help from others. Nothing about dying, we need to keep the hope up that a cure will be found and my son (and all your sons/daughters) will actually live to be adults. It needs to hit people's hearts and hip pockets. Anyone got any ideas? All ideas will be considered.

Veronica, it's so funny that you have suggested this song! Last night was the final of The X Factor (a British TV show with Simon Cowell similar to American Idol) and the winner has just recorded this song and released it today!! I mentioned to my husband Julian that this song might be inspirational enough to use for the photostory. I never realised it was a Miley Cyrus song though. THanks for this!
