My son Chris is 24 yrs old and he has Dysphagia. He cannot swallow anything and he has a Gtube for meds and nutrition. Chris uses a ventilator but he is not trached. We saw Dr. Bach in NJ for evaluation for this noninvasive mechanical ventilation. Chris is having difficulty with an ongoing cough. We use the Cough Assist and the Vest daily and we use a suction machine to remove secretions. I wondered if anyone has had experience with Dysphagia. Any other ideas of things to try? The cough is making him so tired and giving him backaches. He takes Robitussin, Zyrtec and Glycopyrrolate for secretions.

Thank you for any suggestions
