Any views on the (latest?) COQ10 pilot trial carried out last year which was admittedly limited in its duration and was an open label trial.

In the US, compared to here in Europe, clinicians appear to be more willing to endorse the use of this supplement - I'd be interested to hear what dosages are recommended by clinicians??
cheers

Some time ago for a question on the dosage of Idebenone I received a reply: "Idebenone - this is currently in clinical trials and still not prescribed as part of standard of care" My son is getting 300 mg per day twice daily with dishes, I can not see any adverse effects.
Mark,
It's a bit rambling, but check out this discussion which includes many parents and many different recommendations. My son is 14, takes 900mg/day of Idebenone with now discernible side-effects.
