That would be great, I would love our sons to get to know each other. He was ok with the transport chair but once he got into the power wheelchair he did great!! Was able to keep up with his friends, it was like a new world for him.
My weekends are mostly all booked up with Holy Communions, Graduations and Weddings until June. If June is good for you let me know and you and your family can come over and let the boys get to know each other.
Keep in touch
I would really like my son to meet your son one of these days. He is 11 years old now. We just started using a transport chair for school this year. I was wondering how the adjustment to the chair went for your son, as far as school goes. Hope to talk to you soon.
Yes! I did see him. I happen to catch the end of his time on the air. He didn't think those Chuck Norris jokes were funny, me neither. Anyway, you were on tv too. I had a feeling it was you even though i never met you. Your son is cute and did a great job! As for pt we stopped going for the summer because we have a pool. Plus it was too much money for us to continue right now. Ann told us that they may be coming up with a program where parents can take their children in the pool and to keep checking in about that. My son got his first transport chair from mda the other day. He is using it for long distances for now. Well great talking to you maybe we can get together one day while the boys are in school.
Hello Maria... we 'met' at the Muscle Team Challenge - or at least I recognize your name from it, my sons were the inspiration for our MTC team - Team Elliott & Henry. Elliott is also in the PTC124 study with Dr. Finkel - he'll be having the 9 month biopsy in September - boy these 9 months seem like forever. Has Alex completed the tril at this point and moved on to the extension study?
