We have a very busy weekend ahead of us, with some fantastic events happening in the community!

I wanted to take a moment to highlight these fun and very different fundraisers taking place over the weekend.

Big shout out to all those who are organizing events (not just these events- all events!). We realize it’s no small task, and we are eternally thankful for all your efforts!

Grand Rapids .1K- Yes, that’s right, you read that correctly. Mastermind Kyle Smith, a friend of the Friar Family (Friar Fight to End Duchenne), has come up with an ingenious event- a .1K--- something he feels everyone can participate in... 7th Annual Sam's Day- Any event involving Sam Killian HAS to be a blast, right? Here is a 9 year old who not only exudes charisma but he makes an impression on you that stays with you.

Harvesting Hope for Andrew 5K- A great new PPMD event organized by the Nichols family in honor of their son Andrew (picure below). We are so excited for their first 5K! PPMD couldn't be prouder of you. Have a great time this weekend!

Rock ‘n’ Roll St. Louis Marathon & Half Marathon – On Sunday 23 runners will be donning their Run For Our Sons shirts and competing in this annual marathon and half marathon to raise funds and awareness for PPMD. Good luck runners!
