This is my favorite time of year. Not because of the presents or the new Star Wars movie—which by the way is AMAZING!—but because it feels like there is hope in the air.
A couple of weeks ago, when my parents finished listening to a webinar, they were so excited. They told me about another new project PPMD was supporting that looked promising for every single person with Duchenne. It’s called epicatechin.
Look, I know not every new drug is going to work. And I know that finding treatments takes a long time. A really, really long time.
But my family believes in PPMD. We turn to PPMD about the best research to support, about how we can change minds in Washington, D.C., and about advice on care, so that we all know what’s best for me.
I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday. I’m really looking forward to 2016 because I think a lot of awesome stuff will be happening in our community, especially with your support. Please donate to PPMD today, in honor of every single person with Duchenne.
We’re all in this together!

P.S. My parents, with our JOA community, will match any donation made online to PPMD between now and the end of the year. Take advantage of their generosity—I do! Donate now to help us reach the goal of $200,000.
