Changes to Deflazacort Ordering Process (via Masters Pharmaceuticals)

Masters now has an increasing supply of Deflazacort (a steroid available to treat Duchenne outside the US). However, due to recent regulatory changes, families should now allow 3 weeks from submission of their order to receipt of drugs (if drug are needed more urgently, this may be possible for an additional $80 charge).

All orders should be placed online, and documents e-mailed or faxed to the Masters UK office with the referenced online order number (fax number: 011 44 208 3818). In the event that ordering online is not possible, ordering by phone, email or “snail mail” remains possible; however, online ordering is greatly preferred. A Physician Personal Importation Request Letter must accompany your order. This letter may be completed by any medical provider who is able to write a prescription (MD, DO, NP, PA).

Further changes may be necessary, and families will be continue to be informed. Families should be assured that these changes have been made to assure that Masters remains in compliance with all regulatory agencies necessary in order to continue to supply Deflazacort to US families.

Is it applied for US families only? Or all over the world? (we're in Vietnam.) When I ordered, Master requested Pharmacy's license, so I could not buy.
