Everyone gives something to somebody for something. Whether through acts of kindness, services, or hard-earned money, everyone has the opportunity to make the world a better place. No energy required.
Literally from the comfort of our couch, we are able to reach across the world to support others in need. 250,000 boys/young men have Duchenne. They live everywhere, maybe in the next state, the next village, or next door. When you give, you enable their collective voice to be heard loud and clear and the ripple effect of everyone giving will change the world.
On February 22, “Everyone Gives”, a revolutionary, eight-day, global giving campaign, will launch in more than 60 countries around the world. Everyone Gives promises to be the most extensive and inclusive global giving event ever attempted. Participants make a small donation to a charity of their choice through the Everyone Gives website at EveryoneGives.org, and then use their social networks to invite friends, co-workers, clients, and family to give. Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy is honored to have been chosen for this important, first-of-its-kind event.
All we ask you to do is make a donation – from $5 to, well, the sky’s the limit – to PPMD through the Everyone Gives site between February 22 - February 29. After you make your gift, ask five friends to join in giving, and request those friends to each tell five more. It’s like a giving tree and together we can watch it grow!
Whenever the opportunity for the word Duchenne to reach an international audience comes our way, we feel like we have to take advantage and raise awareness. So please encourage your personal social networks to help us grow this tree and make the most of this great opportunity!
Visit EveryoneGives.org and start a giving tree of your own!
Thank you as always for supporting PPMD.
