Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has tried any alternative treatments for MD. Because I am considering trying Royal Jelly Pills. I found this:

Royal Jelly is a powerfull antioxidant and therefore protects cells against damage caused by free radicals. Researchers found that antioxidant supplements slow down the muscular deterioration for people with muscular dystrophy.

Many more research should be conducted, there are no real evidence, but some testimonials. Royal Jelly DOES NOT CURE the muscular dystrophy disease but there are some evidence it slows the process.

and heres a link to the other alternative treatments
http://www.muscular-dystrophy.org/information_resources/factsheets/medical_issues_factsheets/alternative.html

what do you guys think about these treatments? and has anyone found sucess with any of them?

Hello Everyone,
There is a significant concern with Royal Jelly. Actually the claims on that site are not based on hard data and there is actually NO evidence of benefit whatsoever. In addition, some individuals have had horrible side effects. Please be very careful about this. There are individuals out there who say just what you want to hear, but cannot deliver.
Sincerely,
Pat

Thanks Patty, does Brady benefit from them at all?
