- About me:
- I am a blessed woman. I have been a wife for 15 years and I am mom of a 3 (almost four) year old boy named Nathan. I work as an accountant and am currently enrolled in graduate classes to obtain my MBA and become a CPA.
I recently moved back to Michigan. Although I was born in California, Michigan will always be my home. The beautiful seasons and the people will always have my heart!
- About my family:
- We love the outdoors and to spend time with our friends and those we love. We found out Nathan had Duchenne when we were 21 weeks pregnant. It was one of the hardest decisions in our lives, but we chose to have this beautiful boy. Once you have a baby in your belly there is no turning back:-) It has been the such a blessing to be Nathan's parents. His energy and smile is contagious. He definetly is always on the move and is always pushing things to the limits. The worst fear is one day when he won't be able to try the things he wants to. But, with creativity and determination, we will be creative parents and do everything we can to make his dreams come true. Anxiously praying for a cure for so many families like ours who have the hope to end this.

We are currently living in Dallas Tx. And we are getting ready to move the GR area. Our hearts are like yours -- always in Michigan. We are very excited. I'm just introducing myself to other families in the area who also have boys with DMD.
