About my family:
We have two boys, Samuel 5 and Cristus 3, both just diagnosed with Duchenne, we are trying to accept the diagnosis with the help of God and all the amazing people from Parent Project. We love the outdoors activities, the beach and spend a lot of time together.
We love our boys more than anything and we never stop praying for a miracle.
Name(s) of child(ren)/individual(s) with Duchenne:
HI Cristina...Just thought I would drop you note and see how everything is going. If you still live in Fredericksburg let me know and maybe we could have coffee sometime. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org
My name is Sarah and I also live in Fredericksburg, Virginia. My son is 14 and is in middle school. We also see Dr. Leschner at CNMC. How are you? Are you a part of the Greater Washington MDA or are you down in Richmond? Let me know if you would like to get together to meet.
NO TE PREOCUPES CRISTINA VA A VER QUE POCO A POCO VA IR AGREGANDO MAS PALABRAS A SU VOCABULARIO SAMUEL, ASI ESTABA JOSUE, DEJO DE HABLAR A LOS 18 MESES Y AHORA HABLA MUCHO, NO TAN FLUIDO COMO OTRO NIÑO, PERO YO PENSE QUE NUNCA IBA A HABLAR, TEN FE EN DIOS Y DISFRUTA A SAMUEL.
JOSUE TIENE MUCHAS FRASES COPIADAS, OSEA, LAS FRASES QUE VE EN LAS CARICATURAS EL LAS UTILIZA MUCHO.
QUE TENGA SAMUEL MUCHO CONTACTO CON OTROS NIÑOS, JARDIN DE NIÑOS, GUARDERIAS, ETC.
PORQUE CONVIVIR CON OTROS NIÑOS AMPLIA EL VOCABULARIO.
QUE DIOS LOS BENDIGA, MUCHOS ABRAZOS Y BESOS A LOS NIÑOS, TAMBIEN ESTAN EN NUESTRAS ORACIONES.
My name is Cristina, I have a five year old son Samuel, he was diagnosed with autism and last month with Duchenne, is somebody going to the same situacion, I live in northern Virginia.
