Welcome Aimee....I am glad that Tanya introduced to PPMD that you became a member. I know the work you do as a CNA is hard work and rewarding at the same time as I too am a CNA....I worked in people's homes and also in area nursing homes till Adam became confined to a wheelchair, then I guit as it took a toll on me doing caregiving to others 60 hrs. a wk. ( was a single mom back then and worked 60 hrs. a wk. ) and then caring for Adam. I did cleaning for a bit and am now Adam's 24/7 paid caregiver, he hired me ( he could have hired anyone he wanted, but couldn't find anyone reliable or who wanted to do it ), this is thru a Maine State Waiver Program for the disabled to help keep them in their own homes and not in nursing homes.
I am so, glad to hear Tanya has help with her sons and that she thinks the world of you!
I actually became friends with Tanya today here on PPMD, I read her info on her page and also looked at the great pics she has shared with everyone here on PPMD, she is a remarkable lady and has a beautiful family!
