Hi Sue!

Nick is a Junior in high school. The graduation pictures are from his 8th grade. The trip to DC was taken after his 8th grade graduation with 34 in total going on the trip. Most were other 8th graders who graduated. His trip to DC was great and we went to New York. It is that trip to New York that we met Olympia Dukakis's daughter and made the connection for the PSA. I connected Wayne to Olympia's daughter Christine.

Gotta run.

Take care,

Julie

Hi Sue! I saw your post to Keith and wanted to say hello! My son was recently given a bmd diagnosis. For almost a year now we have been living with a dmd diagnosis, but thanks to a muscle biopsy, that has changed to mild to moderate bmd. Were you originally given a dmd diagnosis as well? (That's what your post seemed to suggest but I could be way off base--wouldn't be the first time=0) If so, how did "they" reach this conclusion? There aren't too many bmd parents out there,so I am trying to reach out to others. Glad to hear that your son is doing so well--so very encouraging. Is he on steroids? Does he see Dr. Wong? She is the one who gave us the bmd diagnosis. How does he deal with his diagnosis? Sorry for all the ?'s--I just worry about the future and how my son will cope with his diagnosis.

Hope to hear from you. Take care.

Hey Sue!

I will try to call you today. I want to let you know there is a post on Discussion Forum, under Advocacy I think you can best answer about writing and learning more about what companies offer in terms of grants for charities.

Take cae,

Julie
