I am a mother of 4 and my precious son Tyler has Duchenne MD. The most important things in my life are God, family and friends. I enjoy sports, camping and an occasional movie.
I think the most important lessons that I have learned from our Duchenne journey thus far would be to be thankful for the good days, allow myself some bad days in between, that it is okay to let myself hope for a cure, and to remind myself that Tyler will be whole and healthy again someday if not on Earth than in Heaven.
About my family:
We have 3 wonderful boys and 1 beautiful daughter. We love the outdoors and traveling. We live just outside of town on a piece of land and it is very beautiful and very peaceful. Obviously when you have 4 kids peaceful comes in handy. We feel very blessed and are trying to live life to the fullest.
John-Age 11: Loves ATV's, reading, and of course video games. He is also very soft hearted and witty.
Caitlyn-Age 9: Loves soccer, dance, and helping in my Sunday School Classroom. She wants to be a teacher someday.
Tyler-Age 7: My precious Tyler........He loves to draw, he loves to play pranks on people, he loves to laugh, he loves playing in the sand, and he loves animals.
Matthew-Age 5: Matthew is the dictionary version of a boy. He loves anything with a motor especially ATV's. He is soooo full of life and I learn how to enjoy every day from him. HE LOVES LIFE!

Hi Michelle,
I'm so glad you wrote back. I know 8 is late. I had taken him to several Drs. in the past and they all told me he was Aspergers. until we went to a new Dr. in Medford and he ordeed a CKU. We see Dr. Goins on Monday. I always leave there ticked off. I have learned more from this forum than from my Dr. What made you decide on Cinci? How do you do it? I will call. I just work alot.
