Hi, Maureen! We were very glad to meet you as well! We've enjoyed getting to know Paul & Joanna, Elliott & Henry. We can hardly wait for our next visit when the boys will get the medicine for sure!
On a sad note, my husband's sister passed away yesterday after a battle with colon cancer that had spread to the ovaries, etc. She was only 43, with 5 children ages 12 to 20. Her first grandchild was born 2 1/2 weeks ago. It was a baby girl, and they named her after her grandma (Diane).
We have great peace and comfort in knowing that Diane had a personal relationship with Jesus and knew that she was ready to go to Heaven. She said to us before her death that she had no fear. Some of her last words of advice to us were, "Just raise your family for Jesus!" She had such a wonderful testimony! Her acceptance of the circumstances that came into her life is a challenge to us as we face MD in our family.
Hope we see you again sometime! I didn't realize that you live in Boston!

Hey Mom - didn't know you were joining. Sometimes the board can be a bit overwhelming... but there are nuggets of helpful information laying about. Not sure what you might find useful as the 'Nana'... but you may find some folks up on the North Shore to 'talk' with - and maybe stay current on any local events back home.
