Your right about their internet service.....
I'm sure she wouldn't mind. I will try to talk to her tonight.....and get your e-mail address.
My daughter has a scanner so we shouldn't have any problems sending pictures......we have so many it will be hard to choose......thanks for including Brogan......talk to you later....
I am going to try and e-mail your mom also when I get more time but I get somewhat confused on using this.....(I'm not very computer literate) ......so......talk to you both later.......

Mary,
I have not asked Michelle yet, and I know she doesn't have great internet service, so I was wondering if you could send me some pictures of Brogan. I am putting together a slide show for a fundraiser...to raise money for PPMD and I want to include Brogan in the slide show. If it is ok with her I can give you my email address or you can get it from Michelle. Thanks!!

Hi Mary! I am Rhiannon Traigle's mom, Marla Tabor. Rhi and Michelle talk often and have been great support for each other. Do you have any other grandchildren beside Brogan? I have 3 grandchildren, 1 girl and 2 boys. Riley is my little one with DMD and keeps us all on our toes!
I see that you live in Arabi which is not far from Thibodaux so we will have to meet soon. Keep in touch and have a wonderful day!

Yes, I guess I'm just getting old but don't know how younger people......with work and kids and everything else.......don't just fall into bed with exhaustion right behind the kids at night........but when I think about it........I guess I did the same thing......that's kind of the only time when you can just do a few things that you don't have time for during the day....
Anyway....I usually go to the ppmd site when I'm on my lunch break just to look around......I still can't figure it out to good and since they've changed it I'm back to being lost again. It really is informative......I find myself reading the same information over and over ....and one day maybe it will sink in. I understand your mom's feelings completly......it is not only devistating to think about what the future might hold for your precious grandchild but you also have those same thoughts are for your own child and their family. You as a mother know that you always want to make things better and protect your children from any kind of harm, but we can't. And that feeling doesn't go away just because your grown......it just extends when you are lucky enough to be blessed with beautiful grandchildren and the hurt you feel when you can fix it is that much more. I'm so glad you and Michelle will be getting together at the conference. If you're husband is anything like Clayten....I know he is very supportive and does what he can .........but the leg work is pretty much left up to mom. And being in law enforcement ( I guess Michelle told you Clayten is a deputy - so is his dad) it's kind of a hit and miss thing as far as time at home goes. But unfortunately.....you have to make a living for your family and since you work like the rest of us then your not rich either......such is life. But you make the best of it.......so that's what we do.......and I'm sure since the diagnosis......like us .......everyday seems to be just that much more precious.........Well, gotta go........very busy at work these days but I wanted to write you back........I hope you'll are able to have a little fun on the trip and will keep your family in my prayers. ..........talk to you again.............Mary Lynn

Ok, you can tell that I sent you a message in the middle of the night that I did not notice the last name and Brogan's name as your grandchild!! I am so glad you are on this site. It is sooo informative and I am learning a great deal from other families that are going through what we are. My mom wants to create a page here to be able to connect with other grandparents. She is having a tough time with Riley's diagnosis. I also told Michelle about it and I keep trying to get her to create a page here. She has told me great things about you and how much she appreciates what you do for Brogan. I am also very excited to have Michelle as a friend, she has been wonderful and I can't wait for us to go to the conference! My husband can't attend so I am happy that me and Michelle can go together. I know Michelle's boys will be ok, because she talks about what a great dad Clayton is! Thanks for leaving me a message. I hope that we will all meet soon!
