Marisol, I have not logged into this site for a while so I am sorry for the slow response. Did you connect onto the California group?

How is your son doing? How are you and everyone?

Please take care,

Julie

Hi Marisol,

I live in West Sacramento and my son is 13 and in 7th grade. I have a cousin that goes the Chico State. I've only been there once, but I it was a neat place from what I saw.

Welcome to the PPMD site.

Take care,
Christina

Marisol,

Welcome!

Yes, do join the California group. I hope we can all learn from one another.

I grew up in the bay area, Dublin to be exact. I am now leaving in Sacramento with my husband and three children. My youngest, Nick, is 16 years old with dmd.

You are in the Chico area which means you must have PG&E for your utility service. You can call PG&E to request for a medical baseline form. It helps with the cost of things. You may have already done this but just in case I wanted to share.

Well, I better go here!

Happy 4th of July to you and your family!

Julie

Hi Mari!! Welcome to the community. I think reaching out to other people going through this is very important. Wether its in person, or on the internet. Family members and friends try to be there, but unless you live this day to day life, its just really hard to understand what its fully like. This is an awesome group of people who can answer just about any question you could possibly have!!
