Yes, my husband and I are both from Nashville. We live in Green Hills right on Hillsboro Road - so a nice straight shot down to Vanderbilt. Tell me about your music business husband. It's funny we are connecting because I am almost ready to start discussing having a fundraiser Nashville style. We have several friends who are songwriters. I have been involved in starting a charity 6 years ago - before our diagnois - that raises money for a niche fund at Vanderbilt Childrens for families who are in active cancer treatment. Our event will be this Nov. and be the 5th year. I am becoming increasingly guilty that I do this - but haven't done anything for PPMD. So .....as you well know ...4 kids take a lot of energy and I am just waiting to get to a spot where I can start to brainstorm.
WEll we have a lot in common! Native nashvillians, 3 boys and one girl, and one with a bad disease! Precious kids!
Where is the picture in front of the salt box house....if you say Martha's Vineyard it's a done deal for us...destined to be friends!
Well that sounds about like us. We started with Dr. Sharpe, when he left we were tempted to follow him to his private practice. but didnt. We saw Amanda as well, didn't care for her too much...she said she worked mostly with adults and her speciality was not with kids... So, then we got Dr. Burnett and feel like we are taken care of again. Dr. Burnett and Markham are both college friends and are working together to make the Vanderbilt clinic set up like that at Cincy. That would be nice!
Anyway, it's nice to know of others in the area. We won't be going back until Feb or March ( I can't remember off the top of my head). Anyway, thanks for your reply!
Good morning! You are right! Nashville is not small, but it certainly is a small world. I'm sure there is someone we both know. I was looking through all your pictures. You have a beautiful family. And you are stunning--really gorgeous! Thanks for the welcome.
