It is nice to meet you. Cameron and Hannah are so cute! The blond hair reminds me alot of my 2 Nicholas and Brooke which are practically the same age. It is hard dealing with speech and learning problems. Nicholas was a late talker I can remeber those days quite well. We can already see the learning issues rising. Nicholas will repeat the 4 day 4 year program at his preschool instead of going off to kindergarten. He had ADD tendencies so far. He struggles with wanting to learn he would rather play. It is hard to believe how much the brain is affected. Were there any special things done when Cameron started kindergarten. I have had Nicholas evaluated by the school, but they tell me he does not qualify for anything and he will start kindergarten like any child would. But I don't agree and need to push for more. I sure wish you lived closer. It brings me comfort to talk with other sthat are going through the same thing. Not that I would wish this upon anyone. Keep in touch and maybe we can meet one of these days.
Hey Kim, I love your photos. I am trying to type with a house full of wild children! Of course the boys are all picking on my niece. Good to see you and the kids today! Looking forward to walking tonight, I will need it!!! Renee
You're going to have a blast at Disney. Are y'all staying at Give Kids the World? That's where we stayed, and I could not possibly say enough good things about them. Let me know if you have any questions about your perks while there. They make it very much possible to experience everything...and no lines.
Welcome and come join our Texas group on this site! There are 8 members now, I think, so would love to have more. (Donna Taylor is on the list!) I read your bio and how lucky to have a neighbor going through the same thing! Such a blessing, I'm sure! Are you going to the conference this summer? We are and it will be our first--diagnosed about 6 mos. ago! Can't wait to learn, learn, learn and meet others--that has been my therapy! Great pics by the way; your family is beautiful!
