Back from Philly

Posted on July 21, 2008 at 7:30pm 2 Comments

We just got back from Philly yesterday. The conference was great as usual. Except I've been in funk today. I think I just am over stimulated and pulled from the daily routine where I don't have to be conscious of Duchenne every millisecond of the day. The great thing about the conference is that it gives me a jump start in terms of doing something about this. I want to speak out more, raise more money, help more parents and kids, and just let it be known that there is this community that exists… Continue

Hi Kelli,
Just wanted to leave you a note to say hi. If you remember, I am a PT and we worked together on helping out one of the boys in Arcadia. I have joined the PPMD community to keep up with the topics and discussions. Hopefully, I will learn a lot from the parents' real life stories and be of some help if discussions concern my area of expertise. So..."Hello again" ! :)

Hi Kelli,

We are considering changing schools next fall, from private to public. I was wondering - do you know what is involved in getting a child registered as a 504? We live in So cal - riverside - if that makes any difference.

appreciate any info you can offer up!

Hi Kelli,
I hope all is going well for you and your family. I have a poster of your son that we made for Kicks for a Cure that I would love to get to you. We need to find a time to meet up so I can get it to you. I also have it saved on CD.
Chat with you soon, Traci

Hi Kelli,

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you, actually we were in Wales when you send your message! We missed the Conference, how did it go? Your family pictures are beautiful! Are you guys back in SD or in the process of moving there?

I was a wreck yesterday. It's wierd coming back. I got in trouble at work because I have been so distracted I'm making dumb mistakes. Good luck with the move. Let's figure out when I can bring the boys down and hit Sea World kay?
