- About me:
- I am a at home mom, married and have one son who will be 6 yrs old in May. Anthony is now in full time Kindergarten and absolutely loves going to school. He is starting to see where he faces certain challenges that others don't and is starting to ask questions. I answer him honestly, but I am very brief and leave a lot of the things he does not need to know at 5 yrs of ago out right now. I still find myself spending most of my days and nights searching the internet for anything that will help me find treatments, medicine and pray for a cure as I am sure all parents facing this are also doing.
- About my family:
- We are a close family. Anthony is our only child. We have been doing IVF/PGD since last June and are on our 5th cycle. We are still hopeful that we will be able to have another child, but age and DMD are against us. We do everything together and the smile on our sons face is what keeps us going every day.
