I am Liams father and one of the parents involved in Duchenne Ireland .
MISSION STATEMENT
The aims of Duchenne Ireland is to raise awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at local, national and government level. Our objective is to raise funds which shall go directly to the researchers and clinicians who we believe have the best chance of developing improved therapies which will benefit this generation. We are also working towards achieving an infrastructure which is on a par with best international practice

i live in tyrone and my son lewis who is 5 was diagnosed last year.I was wondering what the view in the republic is on when is the right time for steroids??Have you tried Idebenone or Protandim as supplements from the states?
I live in the South of Ireland and my little nephew was just newly diagnosed.Any advice or suggestions you and your wife can make would be appreciated.What is the situation regarding meetings,conferences etc at local and national levels?I hope to meet with members of Enable Ireland next month to equip myself better regarding knowledge of Irish support structures and any advice you can offer,i would appreciate.I joined your Otherwebsite today.
