My son is 31 with DMD. He was engaged at one time but this was flawed in many ways- too much interferance from care staff for one- She, though a delightful young woman had numerous challenges with Cerebral Palsy. He loves her dearly to this day but....
I'd love to keep in contact as you and your partner are a select few and I praise you! Love is a wonderment to all- it makes life awesome despite the challenges before us-
Curtis would love to hear from Mike if he would link up with Curtis. This disorder can be a lonely journey at times- epecially when many friendships are lost along the way.

Hi Donna, I s Mike your son or husband? Does he have Duchenne's? It's helpful getting aquainted with people with Duchenne's who are older as you are great resources for those of us beginning the journey into adulthood. Does Mike use daytime ventilation? does he have a feeding tube? Mitch is about ready to have a G-tube placed adn is getting a non-ivasive daytime vent soon. Nice to meet you...Heidi
