Dr Flanigan was great! We see Dr Wong the last week of October. Let's try to get together soon. We are leaving for New Orleans this afternoon to visit some friends this weekend.

Long time, no talk=) Hope you have been well, as well as the rest of you family. How did your visit with Flanigan go?? And when in October is it that you are going to Dr. Wong?
We need to try to get together and go to dinner with everyone sometime. It'll be difficult, I know, with all the busy schedules, but it would be great to see you and the "others" =O)
I will check back later to find out about a good time for you--so be thinking;) TTFN! Jill
It was so great to meet you and Brian at the conference--it is a shame that we had to go all the way to Philly to meet;) I look forward to getting to know y'all better and hope that maybe with so many of "us" nearby that we can help raise awareness and funds together! I feel we are lucky that we have so many dedicated families that happen to live so close. Maybe we can make a difference--not maybe--WILL make a difference=) Let's get together soon. Jill
Will do--same here! I figure if we are both looking for each other, we might just find each other. Not sure when I will be showing up. How about you guys? There is a newcomers' coffee at 10:30--I might show up for that but don't know for sure. But will definitely be at the first session at 12:30. See you on Thurs.! Jill
Hi Deanna,
Conner and Austin are so cute. Funny how a hose can be so much fun. It is one of Nicholas and Brooke's favorite things to do. Looking forward to meting you and your family.

You were great with what you said to that boy at the play ground. Kids are more understanding. I told off a few mothers in my day, because some of them would act like my boys had something their children would catch. So you just keep your good attitude and comments and you will do great.
Okay, so I think I just figured out that "your friend," Brian (who I was going to relay my msg. to) is your husband, significant other, etc.!! LOL!! So, I guess you can give him the msg.=)
Anyway......... like I said we would love to hear from you.
Hello Deanna! I was just looking through all the members on here and noticed that you are from Houston. I live in NW Houston. (Actually, it's Cypress but go a mile to 290 and it's Houston:) What part of town are you in? I have been so lucky to find three other moms (and their families) who live nearby--2 are only about 5 mins. away and the other is about 30 mins. We have created our own "support group" and you would welcome to "join." (I don't know how far away you are from us, so don't know if you want to travel very far, but thought I'd throw out an invite and hello!) We don't do anything on a scheduled basis, just sort of whenever and whatever--our boys have had playdates, we've had dinner with the families and just the moms. Our boys are all similar in age--early 4's to late 5's. (We haven't known about our son's diagnosis for long--the official diagnosis came in Feb. 08 but first heard the words MD back in Oct. 07. The other boys range from 2 mos. ago to like 1 1/2 yrs. ago.) Would love to hear from you!!

P.S. I am also going to send this "comment" to your friend, Brian--I think that was the name I read. The more the merrier.
