So is there anyone else on here? I am Australian, living in SIngapore. My husband and I are from Collaroy, on Sydney's NOrthern Beaches. Our son James is 4 and was diagnosed 2 years ago. We put him on Deflazacort straight away and the results were amazing. He is a patient at The Children's Hospital at Westmead under Kathryn NOrth and Kristi Jones - all the doctors there are just AMAZING! We go home once a year for his checkups, but he also has 3-monthly check ups here in Singapore with a fantastic doctor, who works in conjunction with his Aussie doctors.
I miss Australia! I can't wait till we move back. We have two other kids - Charlyse, who is 3, and Saraya, who is only 5 months.
Anyone else out there want to introduce themselves? LEt's get this group rolling!
