Ideas for Dropping Pounds:

Drink 6 - 8 glasses of water
No soda
No Sugar
5 servings of fruits and veggies
Walk 30 minutes on most days of the week
Cut food portions in 1/2

i am very much over weight i am 5'1 and weigh 255 lbs. i would love to loose weight and this is actually a good reason to do it. Because my son is struggling to keep muscle so if you would help me i would be willing to do it.

I've lost 10 pounds and trying for my next 10 pounds.
The best thing that is working for me is no snacking after dinner.
I too would at least like to do the 1/2 Disney Marathon this year.

I am down 10 lbs just from being sick; now if I just keep the momentum going. Keep up the effort everyone.

Hi all! I am so glad to have stumbled onto this group! It's the one thing I feel like I can do right now to help my son. I used to be in great shape and did a 1/2 triathalon and road races for charity. Now I'm too out of shape to do anything for Keelan, so I am at Weight Watchers, trying to lose weight so I can eventually do the Run For Our Sons.

We have to just keep trying day in and day out. Take it one meal at a time, one snack at a time and if we fall off the bandwagon, pick ourselves back up and start over again, don't just continue on the path of destruction. Does this help any?

I'm not doing so well! I lost 3 the first week and now only 1 lb since!!! I HAVE to do right!!!! I also don't see that happening with a week in Cincy eating out and then a weekend in New Orleans.....not a good outlook!!!!

I thought I would come in and see how everyone is doing? I was doing good with portions and lots of salads and fruits and then I hurt my back and now I'm on steroids and I could eat the wallpaper off the walls right about now!

Any ideas?????????
