Our son Charlie has a Go-Go Ultra scooter from Pride Mobility Productsw. www.pridemobility.com He likes it and it works very well for him. It has 3 wheels and a T handlebar which folds and adjusts easily. Battery life is very good. He takes it in the grass, through the woods, to school, everywhere. (He does get stuck in the woods some times if he hits a root or a rock). We recently took him to try some battery operated 2 wheeled scooters. He gave up quickly because he wasn't used to how it handled. We're not sure if we'll try it again but we might. It would be cooler at school. When we got it for him (at age 6) we let him decide when he would take it to school. That took a year and he uses it mostly for ingress and egress and some playground time as well as field trips, etc.
