cheryl,

looks like there isn't an area to put personal info. anyone can access this page.

So, the only way to get us the info would have to be with the "Send Message to Group" link, as Polly suggested and Julie tested.

Hi Kristi!

Welcome to the group and we would love to have you here in Ca but you might not want to move back here when you find there isn't much available for care...no Wellstone Clinic - no CinciClinic. Basically, what is available sucks. Don't know about Ventura tho...I haven't checked the state above LA.

cheryl

ps - your son Christain has the CUTEST face in the swimming pic!

Hey groupies! Can you please let me in even if I don't live in Cali anymore?? I still have connections with California, in fact I am visiting July 4-15th. Anyone going to be at Disneyland July 13 or 14? If so, let me know and maybe we can meet at the park.
My son Christian is 10 with deletion of 45-54, still ambulatory except for things like parks/zoo's ect...

I grew up in Ventura, my parents and the rest of my family live in Ventura, Visalia, Springville,Crescent City, Porterville...I think that's most of them. Anyway, I now live in TN, but hopefully someday within the next couple of years we would like to move back.
Anyway, I'm trying to do 3 things with at once, so I must go for now..

Hi Cheryl - I noticed that just above the members that have joined this group there is a little envelope and next to it is says "send message to group" - in theory I'm sure that means that only members of this group will receive the message sent - and not be sent to the entire PPMD community. Could try a test message and then we would know if it works. LOL
Hope all is well.

Christain,

You seem to know your way around this site so I was wondering
is there some way I can provide personal information here at the California page, without the data going to the general population? This would be in order to allow my home data accessable to those who want to come on the 29th without the rest of the world having it.

I appreciate your help!

Our family lives in Los Angeles. Our son Dylan is 7 and was diagnosed with Duchenne at age 3.

So, now that some of us SoCal/Cal people are together online I was wondering if we can extend our connections to include a summer gathering, (some of you already know about it). It is to be June29th, Sunday in Riverside at our home (I will provide address and phone later - not wanting to display the info online) there will be burgers and dogs, swimming & jacuzzi for the boys, beer and goodies for us. Letting our boys get to know each other a little is important. Alexander certainly will benefit from meeting other kids in the same boat. We have 2 sons - Alexander 9.5 years old DMD missing 2 neucleotides on exon 44 and Max 8.5 years old who is missing nothing and makes me wonder where is the prednisone for parents?
