Hi, Brian, if you add me as a friend I can send you the letter by private message.

Thanks for your help!

HI Angela, please send me the letter and I will send to my MLA as well. I live in Sackville.

We are fortunate that my wifes work covers the deflazacort but, I will still send the letter in.

I also got my work to cover Cialis for me although it was quite a battle but in the end they decided to cover.

Just heard back from my MLA, he's fast. He is sending my letter to the Minister of Health. It would be great if the Minister got another letter from elsewhere in the Province as well.

I have just written to my MLA to request that the Province pay for Deflazacort. I live in Cumberland North Nova Scotia. I encourage other Nova Scotians to write to your MLA's as well. It might not save us thousands of dollars, but it will certainly help out. Heaven knows, the costs of wheelchairs, vans, and supplements are not going down. If you want, I can email you my letter.

Let me know how it goes, perhaps we will try on PEI.

I remember that too- I think it was Sask. but I might be wrong. I will get in touch with him.

I believe another Canadian was successful in getting his province to cover deflazacort. Perhaps you could get in touch with him, I believe his name is Andrew Kerr.

I'm thinking about lobbying to see if we can get deflazacort covered by our provincial (NS) insurance plan but I don't know where to start. Does anyone have any suggestions?
