Which Lift?

Hi - we need to purchase a lift to help my son from bed to chair, etc. Can you recommend a style or a company that you have used and like? (We are near Baton Rouge, LA) We heard that some like the portable models to use at home or take on the road. Thanks! Desaree (hope i can get back here to see any replys. new to this)

We use the Barrier Free Lift System. We have a track on the ceiling and the battery and sling unit can be moved from track to track. They also make a portable lift called the Diana Lift which was used in the high school. I am in NY but they have a web site you could check out. Kathy
