Wyatt is almost 6 and really enjoys swimming back and forth across the pool. I was wandering if anyone had insight on if 1 stroke is better than another stroke or if we should just let him swim however he feels comfortable. Obviously I don't want him doing more harm than good...thanks for any words of wisdom.

Jessica - My son which is 4 and recently diagnosed loves to swim.  We actually do water therapy along with physical therapy once a week.  Our therapist has said just any movement or "swimming" is good because of the resistance.  It's really hard to over do it in the pool and it is also a great cardio exercise.  We put a life jacket on him and let him go to town.  I have seen better results from his swimming than that of the "physical" therapy.
