SOLLY

ON FRIDAY 28 AUGUST 2009 WE LOST MY BELOVED NEPHEW SULEMAN SAEED. HE WAS 16 YRS OLD.AFTER 5 WKS IN ICU, HE CAME HOME ON A VENTILATOR BUT SADLY AFTER 10 DAYS HE LOST HIS LIFE TO DMD. WE MISS HIM TERRIBLY. HE WILL LIVE IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER. THE PAIN OF LOSING A CHILD TO DMD IS UNBEARABLE. MY PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS ARE WITH ALL THOSE PARENTS AND KIDS FIGHTING THIS DREADED DISEASE. HOPE THEY FIND A CURE SOON.

Such a painful loss for you all, and for all of us to see such a young man pass from this disease. Know that we all feel this pain when a young man with DMD passes. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this. We all pray a cure is found soon.

During this time of grief, may you be able to care for yourself and your family while you share memories that keep love alive. Grief is such an individual process....so prayers that you will find the necessary strength each day to continue on during such a difficult time.
