My son Rain is going to be 2yrs in the spring. He's getting to be a bit too big for me to just carry around everywhere. His standing is improving with PT, though he still needs my support. He doesn't walk. But he desperately wants to play just like his big sister. I have been "being Rain's legs" on the playground and just carrying him around and playing him on the slides, the swings, holding him while he "kicks" a ball around .... My back is killing me! Have any of you found ways to play with a little one who is less mobile on a playground? Rain's no longer really content to just play in the dirt with a truck like he used to.

We went to Wal-Mart and bought a Radio Flyer Folding Tricycle. It would collapse to fit anywhere and the pedals would move when you push it. We found too, that the positioning of the pedals was more comfortable and easier for him to reach. He has shorter legs. It was GREAT! Joshua's older brother would love to take turns pushing him as well. When he got a little sturdier on his feet he was able to push the tricycle on his own and it wouldn't fall over.
