I've always considered myself very educated when it came to DMD, however, with the progression my son has experienced in the last 6 months and the decisions I'm facing I feel overwhelmed and uneducated. I'm looking for info on what other parents do when the bowels are weakened, aspiration begins, and the use of trunk muscles are severely affected. Cameron's lung function is to low to put him to sleep to put a colostomy bag in. Any advice or info on how other parents felt with this is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
