Does anyone know more about the difference between these two? Is it just the formula but with the hope for the same results? Should we look into trying to help get funding for this research?

This was on the FAQ: In the absence of Duchenne-specific funding, rhLAM-111 will not enter the clinic for treatment of DMD.

lam-111 is a protein-inhibitor.some proteines like laminin  prevents muscle extra growth. laminin-111 bypasses this protein and muscles could grow more.

smtc1100 is an utrophine upregulator drug . utrophine is a proteine  like dystrophine that has a role like dystrophine in cell membrane but its production is stopped in childhood.

so, lam-111 makes stronger muscles and

smtc1100  compenstaes dystrophine deficiency
