Capitalism in action, enough to make you want to throw up! Masters is now selling Idebenone (renamed to Raxone) as a prescribed pharmaceutical. I presume that they received some sort of special distribution license from Santhera.

If you use the same dosing as the trial (900mg/day) the price for a 30 day supply comes to... $7900!

Not a misprint. That's $264 per day.

This is what the DMD community gets for supporting Santhera. What a bunch of jerks. And we wonder why we have the highest health care costs in the world...

That's absurd $264 per day. I guess when Santhera gets approval from FDA the price will come down also then it will be a drug which Neurologists can prescribe.
