We are looking for the right bed for our son who is ten. We currently have a box springs and mattress on the floor so we can have it low to transfer him. It would be nice to have a height-adjustable bed so we could raise him to do stretches etc. Now we are hunched over. It would also be nice to raise his head up by himself so he can sit up for a drink of water, or to read before bed etc.

Any thoughts? Hosital beds seem uncomfortable and have weird sheet sizes, etc. and are so "hospital-ly" for lack of a better word.

Thanks - Zachary's mom, Tamara

Sleep number bed. My son doesn't have one because he is only 6, but we plan to get one when he is older. My husband and I just got one for ourselves. It is a split king and has the adjustable base so we can move the head and feet up and down and adjust the firmness/softness of the bed. We love it! It's pretty low to the ground and doesn't raise up higher, I guess that's the only downfall
