We just started the GH therapy - with humatrope injections. I am curious if any of the boys that were or are on it, if they had any urinary accidents when just beginning. Our son, age 7, has had a couple accidents lately and he hasn't had any for so long.
Appreciate any feedback.

Char,
Sam's started genotropin this month, but he hasn't had any accidents that I'm aware of.
Laurie - WOW - let's keep talking about what we are seeing.....Essentially, I think it's the same thing only different drug co's. There are some nasty side effects that are rare - I just am praying that Will can tolerate the GH therapy. So many good things that come from it.
Happy Halloween -

Is this covered by insurance? If not, what is the cost? We'll probably start this year. Last x-rays showed zero growth. Thanks!
It really depends on your insurance. Ours covered it with no issues at all and Sam isn't even growth hormone deficient, he just hasn't grown. I believe without insurances it's around $20-30k/year.

We also may start looking into this in our next visit. How about the benefits beyond height. Is anyone seeing any increase in strength? Thanks.
