We're down to less than 2 weeks til the big event. There are still lots of golf balls for sale. Our goal is 2000 and we have collected money so far for 518. We will only be placing the balls in the drop bag that have sold. That gives you great odds at winning the prize money. For $20.00 you have a chance to either win $6000.00, $1000.00, $500.00 or 5 chances to win $100.00. You do not need to be present to win. PPMD will contact you and send you your winning check. All proceeds benefit PPMD, either way it is a win/win situation. Please help us hit our goal and sell all 2000 balls. Instructions to purchase the balls are on the events page. You can purchase with a debit or credit card online. If you are local please come out and spend the day with us. We have over 55 Crafters/Vendors who will be set up all day. (One is a Stairlift Vendor who has donated a stairlift to be raffled off.) We have more than 80 Raffle Items, Music, Kids Games and Crafts, Airplane and Tetherered Hot Air Balloon Rides, and food. Help us support PPMD!!

I just bought mine! I think this is such a fun idea for a fund-raiser! I'm going to send info to my family and friends to try to get more sold. :)
Thanks Veronica: We really need all the help we can get and you are right. I think it's a fun way to raise money too and we are hoping that other families in other states will pick up on it and have the same fundraiser. They can use our logo and our drop bag with the logo and we have the numbered balls for them to use.

We have over 50 crafters setting up and they are all giving us raffle items plus we have collected over 60 more and we will have games for the kids with prizes, food, music and a scarecrow making contest for the kids.

Next year if the economy is still in bad shape will will lower the price of the golf balls and then lower the prize money.
Again, thanks for your help:)

Does buying a ball get you in on the stairlift raffle?
Hi Keith:

The stair lift will be a separate raffle item. I haven't disussed it with the company but I'm assumming it will be handled like the others where you can buy 50 cent tickets with your name on them and at the end of the event we will pull the winning ticket for each item out of the can for that item. If you want to enter let me know and I can put your name on as many tickets as you want. I would assume though that you would have to pay for the shipping and get it hooked up by someone where you live? Either that or we might make it a silent auction item where people can put in a bid.
I will call the PA Stairlift people tomorrow to see what they would suggest because I really have no idea what something like this costs and will let you know.

Okay Keith:

I just talked to the Stair Lift people. Here's what we are going to do. The unit itself is worth $2400.00 We are going to start the opening bid at $200. If anyone in PA wins it then they will do the installation for free. If someone out of our PA area wins it the winner can pay for the shipping and then install it themselves or get someone to do it.
It consists of 2 boxes and 2 tubes? If you have any specific questions you can email them at sales@pastairlifts.com attention Chris Kay.
If you want to put in a bid you can send it to me in a private message.
Hey Keith:

Just wanted to make sure you saw this and let me know what you think:)

So, is Friday the last day to buy online? By what time?
Friday at 1:00 pm EST.
If you haven't bought your golf ball and still want to you have until 1:00 EST tomorrow to do so. Just go to this link on the PPMD page. www.parentprojectmd.org/dropforduchenne To those of you who did buy some, GOOD LUCK!

We are anxiously awaiting the weather forecast for this Saturday and if they are positive we are going to get rain then we will use the rain date of October 10th.

PLEASE PRAY FOR SUN THIS SATURDAY IN THE QUAKERTOWN, PA AREA:)
I will pray for nice weather for this Sat., but so far it doesn't look good here in New Jersey. Hope Quakertown gets the sun. I would very much like to attend along with my daughter and two grandsons.
