My son is alomst 5 and taking prednisone, but we are going to change to deflazacort.  I am worried about the taste of the liquid.  My son has food aversions and medicine has always been an issue.  He can take prevacid solutabs, his falvorless liquid Vitamin, and his flacored liqud prednisone without any prpoblems.  Please tell me about your experience with deflazacort liquid (Zenamem I think) or solutabs.

Thanks

We take Deflaz tabs.  I wasnt aware of liquid.  We have had good results with minimal SE's.  I highly recommend it.  It is more expensive but easy to order from Masters Marketing.

The taste of the liquid is very bitter. I asked Masters Marketing, my son is 3 and not taking pills yet. Julie said that only very few people order liquid b/c of the taste and the price. We ordered pills instead. We'll try to make them powder and give them with yogurt or such.
